Member of the Economic Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Professor Qiang HE of the School of Finance accompanied Vice Chairman Zhengwei WANG of the National Committee of the CPPCC to visit Bangladesh, Laos and Myanmar on May 13-23. In Dhaka, they had a full exchange with the Speaker of the Bangladeshi Parliament. In Vientiane, they visited the Vice President of Laos. In the capital of Myanmar, Naypyidaw, they met with the President of Myanmar, the Speaker of the Federal Parliament and the Senior Minister of Myanmar Aung San Suu Kyi.
