Carrying the responsibility and mission of cultivating financial professionals for the country, the School of Finance (SF) at Central University of Finance and Economics (CUFE) upholds "loyalty, unity, truth and innovation" as its motto, adhering to the philosophy of “pursuing truth and excellence”, unswervingly serves the economic construction for the socialism with Chinese characteristics, and aims to build a world-class financial discipline with the perspective of globalization and national rejuvenation.

As the earliest financial talents training base in China, SF has gone through nearly 70 years trials and hardships. Thanks to the unremitting efforts of several generations of the people at SF, SF has become a distinctive school and academic base with the spirit of openness, inclusiveness, inheritance and innovation. It is our constant pursuit to cultivate high-quality financial talents, to build a think-bank consisting of financial theory and practice, to promote academic innovation, and to better serve the social development. SF always puts the task of cultivating financial talents in the first place.
