At 9:00 on December 5th, 2015, the Master of finance practicing base construction discussion and industrious tutor engagement meeting in Central University of Finance and Economics was held in the Academic Hall 202 in the campus of the south college road. About forty teachers from the industry in the School of Finance attended this meeting. Ms. Ge Renxia, the college party branch secretary; Professor Zhang Liqing, director of Academic Committee and vice president; Professor Li Jianjun, the vice president(presiding); Professor Ying Zhanyu, the vice president; and Professor Tan Xiaofen, the deputy secretary of general Party branch; as well as teachers from the college and masters of finance in 2014 and 2015 participated this meeting.

After that, Professor Zhang Liqing, director of Academic Committee, made a speech. He introduced the development of finance subject in Central University of Finance and Economics and the exploration of internationalization of talent cultivation, analyze the features and advantages of Master of Finance program, and thanked the efforts of tutor from industry.

Subsequently, Professor Li Jianjun, vice president presided over the work, made detailed introduction from the perspective of the development of Mater of Finance program, the pattern of talent cultivation, the teachers group, the innovation of teaching, the internship practice as well as the graduates’ employment. He included the features of this program and the experience of success, and proposed the plan for further development. He called for engaging new members in the tutor group and making full use of their advantages to contribute to improving the quality of talent cultivation .

After the ceremony, Mr. Gou Yijun, the representative of tutor from the industry and vice president of Xinshidai Trust Co.; Mr. Hu Jianzhong, the vice president of China Great Wall Asset Management; Mr. Su Zhongyi, the manager of Zhongshenhuazhen Management &Consultant Company; and Mr. Zhuang Zhiqian, the chairman of Jiantouhuake Investment Co., Ltd., made speeches on topics on “the requirement of finance masters’ quality in the process of finance industry development”, “how to make full use of tutor’s advantages in the process of cultivating finance masters”, “how to choose the case study topics” and ”the concept of Master of Finance practice base construction”.

On the question of graduates’ internship, tutor thought that students should start their internship based on their career planning and avoid blind practice; on the question of internship practice base construction, they thought that the school should strengthen the cooperation with the companies to make full use of the advantages of the practice base and make a better and more systematic plan for students’ internship. Besides, tutor should help students to start their internship more efficiently.

In the discussion session at the venue, tutor and students made discussion on topics including the career planning, theoretical study, internship practice, graduate paper and comprehensive ability in depth. Tutor made systematic guidance from the perspective of financial career quality, graduate study and life. At the same time, students proposed their questions and discussed with tutor actively, which created a hot atmosphere.
