In the morning of 4th, November, the communication meeting on work of part-time counselors in School of Finance was held in Room 913 of the main building of institute of the south road campus. People attending this meeting includes Professor Tan Xiaofen who is the Deputy secretary of the general Party branch in the school of finance, Ms. Zhou Chen and Mr. Han Yang from the career guidance center, Miss. Han Jiajun from Ideological Education Office, Mr. Li Hongjin from the psychology Education and Counseling Center, Mr. Liu Yong, Miss. Gao Fei and Miss. Mei Qi from the student affair office in the school of Finance. This meeting was hosted by Mrs. Wang Zhimei, the director of the student affair office in the school of Finance.
Meeting place
First of all, Mrs. Wang Zhimei introduced the working situation of part-time counselors. The system of part-time counselors is a good exploration in the process of meeting the requirements of the Party’s mass line educational practice and enhancing the communication between functional departments and schools and students. Since September, 2013, the School of Finance, which was selected as the pilot school, has carried this system out for two years. During these two years, part-time counselors have taken an active part in the ideological and politic education, the management of and service for undergraduates from the School of Finance through class meeting, seminars, dormitory conversation and individual talk. These counselors make an excellent contribution to the all-round development and healthy growth of students.
In the process of work communication of part-time counselors, Ms. Zhou Chen from the career guidance center, who is the part-time counselor of Class One of Finance of 2014, shared her experience on students career guidance, interning guidance based on the analysis of features of students in the school of finance. Mr. Han Yang from the career guidance center, who is the part-time counselor of Class One of Finance Engineer of 2014, shared his experience on making progress through helping students solving problems; Mr. Han Jiajun from Ideological Education Office, who is the part-time counselor of Class One of Finance of 2015, shared his idea and methodology of “basing on career, making use of advantages, emphasizing on communication, serving students”; Ms. Li Hongjin from the Psychology Education and Counseling Center, who is the part-time counselor of Inter-development Class of 2015, expressed her excitement and stress to be a part-time counselor, and he said that he will carry out the job of guiding and serving students through group counseling, in-depth interviews, case tracking and so on.

At last, Professor Tan Xiaofen, the deputy secretary of general Party branch in the School of Finance, made conclusion. He thanked and thought highly of the guidance and help for students in the School of Finance provided by these teachers. In addition, he hopes that those off-the-job part-time counselors could continue paying attention to the development of our school and the growth of students in our school, new part-time counselors could contrapuntally carry out ideological and political education combining their own experience and making full use of their advantages and strengths.
