In order to summary class teachers and instructors’ working experience and enhance the working experience exchange, the undergraduate class teachers and instructors’ working experience exchange meeting was held by School of Finance in 1011 Meeting Room of Main Building in Xueyuan South Road District of CUFE on Oct. 28th. The exchange meeting was hosted by Wang Zhimei, Director of the Student Affairs Office of School of Finance.Tan Xiaofen, Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch, also attended the meeting. Undergraduate class teachers and instructors gave their speech in different topics.

First of all, Wang Zhimei gave a brief introduction on undergraduate class teachers and instructors’ working situation in the 2014-2015 school year. Class is the main organization carrying on the undergraduates’ self-education, self-management and self-service and undergraduate class teachers and instructors are the most important strength to lead the classes’ building and students’ growing. School of Finance has paid a great attention to undergraduate class teacher and instructor training and tried to search a benign mechanism which serve the classes’ building and students’ growing. Now plenty of unique class activities have been held. Over the past school year, the class building got great achievements. Class 2 of Finance Major Grade 2011 got the name of Beijing Advanced Class Collective, Class 1 of Finance Engineer Major Grade 2012 got the name of Capital Pioneer Cup of Outstanding League Branch and Class of International Monetary and International Finance Major Grade 2012 entered the Beijing Demonstration Class Selection. Many classes got the honor of School Outstanding Class Collective and School Outstanding League Branch.
In the class teachers’ working report, Zuo Yuxiu, class teacher of Class 2 of Finance Major Grade 2012 gave a speech on the topic of How to Fulfill the Duty of a Class Teacher from the View to Cultivate High Quality Financial Talents. She shared her creative approach to cultivate humanistic quality and good character and carry on security education, by class newspaper, topic class meeting, study diary and so on, with the view that how to cultivate high quality financial talents for the country.
Zhang Xueyong, class teacher of Class 1 of Finance Engineer Major Grade 2012 and vice president of school of finance, gave his speech on the topic the Building of Class Studying Style and Academic Guiding. He praised the class teachers’ input, love, dedication and responsibility and implied importance of the sense of identity and the sense of participation in class construction. He gave the idea that “Knowledge is power” and “Knowledge is the true value and degree is the byproduct”. And he introduced the approach that new teacher could use to train students with their research advantage, help students set up their career ambitions and enhance the students’ ability to understand and use the knowledge.
As a represent of class teachers who have worked for only one year, Gou Qin, the class teacher of Class of International Monetary and International Finance Major Grade 2014, gave her speech on the topic Students’ Individual Growth and Career Life Instruction. In order to solve the two problems that students do not know what to study and how to study and students do not know how to manage their life in her class, she started questionnaire survey named “My School Life” and organized series lecture named “Golden Grow Up”. In these two activities, she used the resources both in the university and out of the university, tried to cultivate students’ interest in their major and led the students to recognize themselves, in order to let students make a good plan for their university life.
In the part of instructors’ speech, Gao Fei, instructor of Grade 2014, gave a speech on the topic the Approach to Construct Class Cohesive Force. She showed the importance of the instructors, class teachers and student cadres in the class construction and emphasized that instructors should influence students by ability and moral. Meanwhile, she said that the key term, like student enrollment, military train, special holiday, final exam and unexpected event should be paid more attention in order to enhance the students’ sense of collective honor.
An Hong, instructor of Grade 2013, gave her speech on the topic Protect Life and Help the Special Students Well. Psychological crisis events that she had solved were used as cases, to conduct the special students’ types, grow-up experience, personal character, daily action, diagnostic method and which might meet in the daily work of an instructor. She showed that instructors should use the resources both in the university and out of the university in order to help students solve the crisis and the confusion during growing up, so students’ potential could be cultivated and help the students grow up healthily.
Undergraduate class teachers and instructors’ is sharing working experience
At last, Tan Xiaofen, Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch, commented on the meeting. He hoped the teachers could consider the teachers’ advantages and students’ different demand, analyze the students’ different characters, enhance the communication between each other and improve the research to the work, so they could instruct the students from different background, different type, different level and different grade and motivate students’ to achieve self-education, self-management and self-service.
