2015 Collaborative Group annual conference and the Sixth China Financial Education Forum was held in Nanchang on October 17,that was sponsored by the school of finance of CUFE which is the director member of higher education of Finance and economics branch of China Higher Education Society and undertook by Jiangxi University of Finance and economics. 140 experts from more than 60 institutions in the country participated in the forum. The theme of the forum was the concept and method of financial education: reform and innovation. The forum carried out the expert keynote, Dean Forum, seminar and other forms of discussion which achieved good results.
At the opening ceremony, professor Zhang, Liqing the chairman of finance professional collaboration group and the dean of school of finance of our University, and professor Wangqiao, the principal of Jiangxi University of Finance and economics, represented the financial specialty cooperative group and the forum organizer respectively to deliver their speech. Fan Minxuan, the director of higher education of Finance and economics branch, read the congratulatory letter from the Chinese higher education of Finance and economics branch.
In the keynote session, Li Jian, the deputy director of Ministry of education finance learn professional teaching steering committee, national great teacher, professor of our school, published keynote speech named "taking the curriculum construction as the starting point as to improve financial staff training", which won high praise from all the delegates. Zhong Rongsa vice president of the China's securities investment fund industry association, and professor Wang Aijian the former vice president of Tianjin University of Finance and economics and Professor, professor Dar Yeh Hwang the director of Taiwan University Financial Research Center had a speech about financial development on the theme of talent demand and domestic and overseas financial education comparison respectively. Besides, part of the winning paper was published at the conference.
At the branch of this forum, delegates analyzed the difficulties found in the teaching model, method and students training, discussed how to promote the development of financial education in colleges and universities, and how to build an appropriate educational system to cultivate more and more financial scholars. They analyzed the differences between china and foreign counties and discussed the key problems of financial education system. Furthermore they analyzed the problems faced by China's financial education, and discussed how to grasp the opportunities and to solve those problems mentioned.
In the closing ceremony of the forum, the prize awarding ceremony of 2015 China excellent research papers of financial education was held. A total of eight papers received an award. Particularly, Professor Ying Zhan Yu who works in our school won the grand prize papers with his paper comparison research of experimental class project carried out in financial undergraduate education in china. Another seven authors who were from Nanjing University, China CITIC bank, Jiangxi University of Finance and economics, Shanghai Foreign Economic and Trade University and Shandong Normal University and other units were given the first prize and second prize respectively.
The successful holding of the forum had an important significance for promoting the education of finance in china, and it has become a platform for the research on the financial discipline of domestic universities. The Sixth China Financial Education Forum has also been supported by the editorial department of "international financial research" of Bank of China, the editorial department of “financial forum” of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China and the higher education press.
