The teaching research paper “Thoughts on the Construction of Internet Finance Courses and Talents Training Mode”, written by Professor Jianjun LI, the School of Finance at CUFE and Associate Professor Yongbin LU from the School of Finance at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, was published in the 5th issue of “China University Teaching” in 2018.

Abstract: In recent years, with the rapid development of the new financial industry represented by Internet finance, the requirement of financial talents training has been raised to a new high level and financial education in universities established under the framework of traditional economics is facing severe challenges.

Under this background, some universities in China have made some explorations in the course construction and talents training mode of internet finance. However, due to the lagging concept, insufficient experience, limited resources and other factors, there are still many problems in the course construction and talents training of internet finance. This paper suggests that universities should strengthen basic theoretical research, reconstruct talents training objectives, optimize curriculum structure and innovate teaching content mode, so as to carry out in-depth reform and adaptable innovation in the course construction and talents training of internet finance.
