On March 15, 2018, the first meeting of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference passed the list of members of the special committees. Professor Qiang HE of the School of Finance was elected as a member of the Economic Committee of the National Committee of the CPPCC.

Qiang HE, Manchu, was born on September 14, 1952. He graduated from the Economics Department of Hubei University of Finance and Economics in July 1982. He is currently a professor at the School of Finance of the Central University of Finance and Economics, a doctoral tutor, and the director of the Securities and Futures Institute.

Professor Qiang HE has been engaged in the teaching and research of joint-stock systems and financial securities for a long time, and has obtained a large number of research results. He has published 19 books. At the same time more than 300 papers of his on the securities market were published.
