From March 10th to 16th and May 3rd to 8th in 2016, director of center for Chinese studies and Professor David Dickinson of Business School of Birmingham University came to Shahe campus of CUFE and taught behavioral finance for 2015 class of masters in school of finance and overseas students. Professor David Dickinson is chair professor of intelligence introducing project of department of international cooperation in CUFE.
During the class, Professor David Dickinson explain to the students the meaning of behavioral finance, basic ideas, concepts and models with vivid language, introduced capital asset pricing model based on consumption using mathematical combination, analyzed the irrational belt to foam with the reality of the data, and the international financial crisis, behavioral finance explanation.
In recent years, the use of psychological microscopic analysis of individual behavior and motivation to produce this behavior, construed, research and development has become the trend of financial markets predict the financial field. Professor David Dickinson’s courses help students develop the research horizons and enrich the research methods, which benefits students a lot.
After class, students talk with Professor David Dickinson about the contents and their research interests actively, and got a lot of new thoughts and help.
On May 8th, Professor David Dickinson ended his courses in students’ warm applause.
