The Lecture on “Emotion Management” is successfully held.

On the evening of April 11th 2016, lecture on “Emotion Management”, which is one of the lectures in freshmen psychological workshop lecture series, is successfully held in room 115, 7th academic building. This lecture is hosted by psychological counseling center of CUFE, school of finance and China academy of financial development and lectured by teacher Li Weihua from psychological counseling center of Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. The lectured is directed by teacher Mei Qi from school of finance. About 100 students from both schools attended the lecture.

 In university life, students always have some negative emotion, which would influence their studies. This lecture is aimed at teaching students how to control different kinds of emotion and improve the efficiency of study.

At the beginning of the lecture, the teacher brought back the students’ interests with several humorous stories, and then close connection with many practical examples to the students vividly explained the mood of knowledge management. Teacher Li firstly talked about the nature and expression of emotion, and then through cartoons and pictures to show the students the physiological process of emotion generation. Then, the teacher through a rich and representative examples, explain to the students the kind of emotional expression and emotions, after in-depth explanation of the emotional and mental health, knowledge management and emotional aspects of adjustment, which focuses on the relevant knowledge of depression, and taught the students manage emotions. During the lecture students actively interact with teachers to share their experiences, teachers are invited to ask someone to experience the "mental feedback machine," to the students left a deep impression. Lectures ended in a relaxed atmosphere.

This lecture eased the students’ pressure in their daily study lives, enriched the students’ awareness of emotional management, enhance the students’ understanding of their own emotions, and enhance students' self-control. This seminar teaches students how to adjust their emotions, reduce the psychological burden, so that their future college lives will be more colorful.
