Our school held the undergraduate forum of winter vacation returning home during school year of 2015-2016

On March 1, at noon, School of Finance held the undergraduate forum of winter vacation returning home during school year of 2015-2016 in 301 Meeting Room of Ding Xiangyuan No. 1 Apartment in Shahe District. Pro. Tan Xiaofen, Deputy Secretary of the Party branch, Li Ju, The Youth League Secretary and Mei Qi, Instructor of Grade 2015 took part in the forum with 19 undergraduate student representatives from Grade 2015, Grade 2014 and Grade 2013, talking about their life in the winter vacation and planning their new life in the new school term.

 

 

The atmosphere of the forum was pragmatic, democracy, equal and open. Students talked about what the saw and feel in the hometown during the winter vacation. Many students learned their hometown more than before by taking part in social practice and public benefit activities. They got their independent think about some hot topic, such as poverty alleviation in poor area, left-behind children and the old, online shopping in the village and so on. Some students read a lot of books in different area and kept learning, trying to learn more in the spare time of winter vacation. They took part in scholar competition and improved themselves. And most of them visited their relatives and did housework for their family. The communication with their family made they feel love and happiness, helping them to know what they want to do in the future.

Moreover, based on the appreciate of the help and strength for their growth given by the school and university, students talked about their suggestions on the building of the school, the teach and scholarship of the school, student work and interactive between junior grade and senior grade.

Tan Xiaofen listened the students’ words carefully and gave his response to the students. He highly apprised students’ action of active thinking and would respond the suggestions to the school and teachers, trying to make their work more scientific and careful, making the atmosphere of the school life better. Meanwhile, he wished the students get a good plan for their brand new school term.
